Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post a line from the first 30 songs that play.
Step 3: When someone guesses both artist and song correctly, replace the lyrics with his/her name. (If it's a musical, you can name the musical instead of the artist.)
Step 4: Looking the lyrics up on Google or any other search engine is considered CHEATING!
Step 5: If you like the game post your own!

1. "My heart is drenched in wine, but you'll be on my mind forever."
2.<strike>"Who is that girl I see staring straight back at me?"</strike> Reflections, Mulan, guessed by Roxana.
3. <strike>"You'll be faced with problems of all shapes and sizes"</strike> For Now, Avenue Q, guessed by Roxana
4. "Though I do admit it came on fast, still I do believe that it can last"
5. <strike>"It's time now to sing out though the story never ends."</strike>Seasons of Love, Rent, guessed by Roxana
6. "If you close your eyes."
7. "Nothing we can do."
8. "Bold countenance, both tragic and amused."
9. "Have I missed her? Did I let her go?"
10. <strike>"If I'm only dreaming please don't wake me." </strike> Here I Am, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, guessed by Roxana
11. <strike>"There are so many lives I want to share with you."</strike> The Next Ten Minutes, The Last Five Years, guessed by Roxana
12. <strike>"Yet still I am content and I am not the least bit mad..."</strike> Apology To A Cow, Bat Boy, guessed by Roxana.
13. <strike>"Yes, it means I'm free."</strike> Work Song, Les Miserables, guessed by Roxana.
14. <strike>"The wind is low the birds will sing that you are part of everything."</strike> Dear Prudence, The Beatles, guessed by Roxana.
15. "Puppet shows and movies, the cool things never end."
16. "And now assassination is just the only way."
17. <strike>"I've been very hopeful, so far."</strike> Could We Start Again, Please?, Jesus Christ Superstar, guessed by Roxana.
18. <strike>"What is it that we're living for?"</strike> Applause, Applause, guessed by Roxana.
19. <strike>"A human being's made of more than air."</strike> Mister Cellophane, Chicago, guessed by Roxana.
20. "You keep saying you've got something for me."
21. <strike>"There isn’t any sort of word that you could say."</strike> Be On Your Own, Nine, guessed by Roxana.
22. "'Cause lately I've been stumbling feels like I'm recovering."
23. <strike>"I betcha you would have done the same."</strike> Cell Block Tango, Chicago, guessed by Roxana.
24. "An ominous landscape of never-ending calamity."
25. "If you've already decided then deliver the blow."
26. "Must you to be oh so far away from me."
27. "But she let another guy come between us and it ruined our plan."
28. "Do you remember those wonderful parties?"
29. "No one's ever gonna keep me down again."
30. "Because the thought alone is killing me right now."

Name 10 of your favorite Broadway musicals

(In no particular order, and only ones that have been on Broadway...)

1. Passing Strange
2. Assassins
3. Sweeney Todd
4. Sunday in the Park with George
5. Into The Woods
6. Company
7. Fiddler on the Roof
8. Rent
9. West Side Story
10. Last Five Years

Have you ever seen these shows live? If so, where?
I've seen all of them live at least once. Passing Strange on B'way, Assassins at OCC, Sweeney Todd at the Ahmanson, Sunday on B'way, Into the Woods in like, a million places, including Citrus College, Cypress College, Torence, I don't even know where else. Company when Abi was in it, don't remember where. Fiddler at the Pavillion I think, and Citrus maybe? I don't know for sure. Rent on B'way and on tour like a thousand times, mostly at OCPAC. West Side Story I've seen at Torence. And the Last Five Years at the Chance.

What's your favorite song from play 2?
I really like the Gun Song / The Ballad Of Czolgosz and since on my CD of the OBC it's one track, I'll count it as one song! I also love Another National Anthem...And Unworthy of Your Love. And it's really hard to choose...

Who's your favorite character from play 4?
Well, George. <---Yeah...

What's your favorite scene from play 5?
It's Your Fault or Like Father, Like Song.

What's your favorite lyric from play 8?
It's a cheesy and obvious choice, BUT-
"The opposite of war isn't peace, it's creation!" <----Again, yeah.

From play 10, which character are you most like?
Jamie, except in the gender thing.

Can you quote every line from play 1?
No, only seen it once. That's my excuse.

How many times have you seen play 3?
Just once live. OH MY GOD. It was amazing.

If you could be anyone from play 6, who would it be? Why?
One of his girlfriends.

What's your favorite song from play 7?
If I Were A Rich Man always makes me think of my baba, so I lvoe it. And Matchmaker has a special place in my heart. And goodness, I don't know, it's hard to pick.

What's your favorite quote from play 9?
Doc: When do you kids stop? You make this world lousy!
Action: We didn`t make it, Doc.

Out of all these plays, which one is your absolute favorite?
I cannot choose. I think that Passing Strange is BRILLIANT, but Sunday...And it's made harder by the fact that things like Woods or Fiddler are classic and old school to me.

Who's the best Broadway actor?
Right now on Broadway? jeezus. Don't ask me that. Daniel Evans rocks my world. Daniel Breaker was fantastic. And I love Norbert. <--Stealing from the Rox.

Who's the best Broadway actress?
I cannot answer this...I can't just steal Roxana's answer, so I give up.

What's the best musical they turned into a movie?
Jesus Christ Superstar & Fiddler On The Roof. Apparently the same directors. I love West Side Story, but it's oddly different from the stage show. But the movie feels more right to me, because it's what I knew first.

Is there a musical you DON'T like?
Uh, yes.

If so, which one? Why?
Li'l Abner cause it SUCKS. And Spring Awakening cause it sucks and people think it doesn't.

Do you think the movie versions are better, or the original Broadway plays?
The original versions. They were written for the stage, and I have never, ever seen a musical that worked as well as on screen as it does onstage. <---Roxana just takes my answers before I can get to them...

This or That:

The Producers or RENT - Rent
Wicked or Chicago - Chicago.
Fiddler on the Roof or Oklahoma - Fiddler. Though I LOVE Oklahoma.
Thoroughly Modern Millie or 42nd Street - Don't know either one very well..
Hairspray or Grease - Hairspray.
Oh! And since I'm going to be gone for all of them, I have to do it now I guess: Happy birthday Ronny! You're freakishly old. And happy birthday Matthew, who is also freakishly old. Happy birthday Kelsey, and I'm totally excited I get to see you soon. And happy birthday Davin, I'm incredibly glad you managed to stay alive this long. Love y'all, hope you have great birthdays, though I know they'll be seriously lacking without me around.

=D

What we have here is the top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing’s users. As in, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded. Bold the ones you've read, underline the ones you read for school, italicize the ones you started but didn't finish.

But I'm changing it, because I've never read a book for school. So instead the underlined ones are the ones that I bought or got a copy of in some way that I've never even started.

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell
Anna Karenina
Crime and Punishment
Catch-22
One Hundred Years of Solitude
Wuthering Heights
The Silmarillion
Life of Pi : a novel
The Name of the Rose
Don Quixote
Moby Dick
Ulysses
Madame Bovary
The Odyssey
Pride and Prejudice
Jane Eyre
The Tale of Two Cities
The Brothers Karamazov
Guns, Germs, and Steel
War and Peace
Vanity Fair
The Time Traveler’s Wife
The Iliad
Emma
The Blind Assassin
The Kite Runner
Mrs. Dalloway
Great Expectations
American Gods
A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius
Atlas Shrugged
Reading Lolita in Tehran : a memoir in books
Memoirs of a Geisha
Middlesex
Quicksilver
Wicked : the life and times of the wicked witch of the West
The Canterbury Tales
The Historian : a novel
A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man
Love in the Time of Cholera
Brave New World
The Fountainhead
Foucault’s Pendulum
Middlemarch
Frankenstein
The Count of Monte Cristo
Dracula
A Clockwork Orange
Anansi Boys
The Once and Future King
The Grapes of Wrath
The Poisonwood Bible : a novel
1984
Angels & Demons
Inferno (the Niven & Pournelle version)
The Satanic Verses
Sense and Sensibility
The Picture of Dorian Gray
Mansfield Park
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
To the Lighthouse
Tess of the D’Urbervilles
Oliver Twist
Gulliver’s Travels
Les Misérables
The Corrections
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Dune
The Prince
The Sound and the Fury
Angela’s Ashes : a memoir
The God of Small Things
A People’s History of the United States : 1492-present
Cryptonomicon
Neverwhere
A Confederacy of Dunces
A Short History of Nearly Everything
Dubliners
The Unbearable Lightness of Being
Beloved
Slaughterhouse-five
The Scarlet Letter
Eats, Shoots & Leaves
The Mists of Avalon
Oryx and Crake : a novel
Collapse : how societies choose to fail or succeed
Cloud Atlas
The Confusion
Lolita
Persuasion
Northanger Abbey
The Catcher in the Rye
On the Road
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Freakonomics : a rogue economist explores the hidden side of everything
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance : an inquiry into values
The Aeneid
Watership Down
Gravity’s Rainbow
The Hobbit
In Cold Blood : a true account of a multiple murder and its consequences
White Teeth
Treasure Island
David Copperfield
The Three Musketeers

Juno Tomorrow

Okay, so, I want to see Juno again, and I also want to actually hang out with my friends outside of just playing D&D/Magic and doing karate, SO! Tomorrow at 10:30 I'm planning on seeing Juno (assuming, ya know, other people come with me. All it takes is one other person!)at the Westminster Edwards down the street from the studio. Movie starts at ten thirty, so plan on hanging out and eating before hand. Any takers?

I Am A: True Neutral Human Ranger/Rogue (1st/1st Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-16

Dexterity-15

Constitution-14

Intelligence-15

Wisdom-15

Charisma-15

Alignment:
True Neutral A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Primary Class:
Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.

Secondary Class:
Rogues have little in common with each other. While some - maybe even the majority - are stealthy thieves, many serve as scouts, spies, investigators, diplomats, and simple thugs. Rogues are versatile, adaptable, and skilled at getting what others don't want them to get. While not equal to a fighter in combat, a rogue knows how to hit where it hurts, and a sneak attack can dish out a lot of damage. Rogues also seem to have a sixth sense when it comes to avoiding danger. Experienced rogues develop nearly magical powers and skills as they master the arts of stealth, evasion, and sneak attacks. In addition, while not capable of casting spells on their own, a rogue can sometimes 'fake it' well enough to cast spells from scrolls, activate wands, and use just about any other magic item.

Find out What Kind of Dungeons and Dragons Character Would You Be?, courtesy of Easydamus (e-mail)

I won! Yay! I think this was the hardest year for me so far, but I am by far the msot proud of this novel then the rest of mine. I think I might be getting better at this whole writing thing...

Just barely cleared 50k, but I know that I'll keep working on this story until it's actually finished. I might take a break and mess around with some other stories (I haven't written anything purely fantasy in a while and I sort've want to) but I know I'll come back to it.

Yay!

(the keyboard on my mood is just perfect...)

So I was just trying to write that one of my characters (in my novel) was being vague, and I couldn't remember the word vague. So instead I wrote that he was being Dokish. Yes. Really. Is it possible that I'm tired? Perhaps. But really, Dokish (or Dokesque. I think I like that more, it looks more like a real word) was more what I meant, because he wasn't just be vague he was being unnecessarily vague.

So Stefan, feel proud, your last name almost made it as an adjective.
